Books 466-470

This just in:
I'm on vacation
and I'm sick.
One of these things needs to stop.
Immediately.
I'm looking at you,
possibly-strep-throat-but-who-knows-because-the-Patient-First-doctor-sucked.

Ahem.
Okay.
Sorry.
That's out of my system.
I'll be nice now.

Our comment about our first book
actually comes from
my younger sister,
ASM.

She believes this title
accurately describes
all
of the Garfield comics,
as in,
they all take up space.
She might have to take that up with
our older sister,
ANM,
because I believe she sees Garfield
as harmless entertainment.
My position on it all?
Or whatever.

This is a very interesting cover.

And I'm sure it's a very interesting book.
And.
Words.
Amusing commentary.
Etcetera.
Etcetera.

I'm sorry.
I can't be entertaining all the time.
Sometimes my mind just goes blank.

I like this next cover.
It's simple, pretty,
and to the point.

Well done,
Mr. Potok.
Well done.

Oh!
Mr. Aleichem!

Does anyone else
get a nice moment of nostalgia
whenever one of our
original repeat offenders
reappear?
It really is like seeing an old friend again.
Time was
(i.e. way back on the first bookcase)
it looked like
Mr. Aleichem
would be one of our top competitors.
He's still up there,
but Mr. Trudeau, Mad,
random journals, and Ms. Tyler
are certainly giving him
a run for his money.

Speaking of Ms. Tyler...

I actually read this one.
There was something about a
missing Beatles song in it,
I think.
I don't know.
It's been a long time.

Okay,
I'm going to go do something unproductive.
That sounds good.

Have a great weekend,
everyone!
