Books 56-60

Today we start with a book about art.
I'm guessing this is either my mother's book or her mother's.
It seems like their kind of thing.

I'm getting a big kick out of all these Yiddish books.
This one has a nice cover, though.
I feel less inclined to laugh,
and more inclined to just smile.

I have not read this book.
I did read Pay it Forward.
I didn't like it that much.
This book may be in the category of boring books with good titles.
I don't know.
I wish good authors could repossess titles from bad authors.

The Joy Luck Club is one of those books you can't help but run into in high school English anthologies.
I've never read it all the way through,
but I've probably read most of it
(out of order)
because I showed up to my high school English classes.

This sorry paperback is my fault.
I can't remember where I got it.
I've never heard of the school printed on the cover.
And I left it on my parent's shelves.
I don't think I want it back.
Happy (early) birthday, mum and dad!
